Custom Wiring Electrical Contractors was founded in 1979 by Chuck Madill & Phil Porscheron, to supply dynamic, needs-oriented residential, commercial and industrial electrical / electronic installation and service.
In 2004, after completing a BA in Business Communications, Chad Madill joined Custom Wiring full time to help grow and continue on the family business.
After obtaining his 309A Construction Maintenance certification, followed by his Master Electrical License, Chad took over the Operations position and continued to work in the family run business, learning all aspects of running a successful electrical contracting company and expanding his knowledge and experience in the Residential, Commercial and industrial electrical sectors.
After running the Operations for Custom Wiring for 15 years, Chad officially took over the company and became its new owner in 2020.
With new ownership comes change and growth. Chad decided to rebrand the company under a new name, Valley River Electrical, to better reflect the geographic region he serves and to add a fresh new outlook for the business.
Chad has, and always will, maintain the core values handed down to him from his father, and continues each day to live up to the company’s mission.
