To receive the rebate, you MUST have your Home Energy Assessment done BEFORE having any type of heat pump installation done. From our experience, it takes a few weeks to get your Home Energy Assessment scheduled. We are guessing that with the additional Oil to Heat pump grants coming out in January 2023, that getting an energy audit may take longer in the new year.

Based on what we know, our suggestion on timing would be the following:
Your Energy Assessment provider will send out the information on your behalf for you to receive any applicable grants for your oil furnace to heat pump installation.
